[sendmail ] 버퍼오버플로우 패치에서 에러

리눅스 버전은 redhat6.2
sendmail 은 sendmail-8.11.1-1kr 이거든요

updates.redhat.com 가서 sendmail-8.11.6-1.62.3.i386.rpm 다운 받고

shell>rpm -Uvh sendmail-8.11.6-1.62.3.i386.rpm
error: failed dependencies:
rpmlib(PayloadFilesHavePrefix) <= 4.0-1 is needed by sendmail-8.11.6-1.62.3

<-이렇게 에러가 나더라구요

rpmlib 가 뭔지..이런 패키지는 없던데..

그래서 강제 설치 했거든요.
shell>rpm -Uvh --nodeps sendmail-8.11.6-1.62.3.i386.rpm

그리고 나서
데몬도 뜨고 센드메일 실행에는 문제가 없어 보이는데
패치가 되지 않았더라구요.

그리구 검증 옵션줘서 해보니까.
shell>rpm -V sendmail

위와 같이 파일이 없다고 나오거든요.
패치후에 위의 파일들이 없어진것이 아닌지..
위의 파일들을 생성해 줄려면
다시 설치를 해야하는데.
그럼 rpmlib 가 걸려서 안되고

그리고 또 한가지
shell>ps aux 하면
sendmail: accepting connections 외에
sendmail: server [218.232.106.150] cmd read 이런게 뜨는데..
아이피가 제 서버 아이피도 아니고 무엇인지 궁금해서요.

redhat 6.2 라면 rpm이 3.x 일테고...

아마도 지금 패치는 rpm 4.x 대에 맞춰져서 나온듯 합니다.

rpm을 업그레이드 하는것이 우선 필요할듯 한데...

rpm 3.x => rpm 4.x 라면...그냥 데이터 백업해서 새로 까심이 좋을듯 합니다 -_-;;

문서를 뒤져보면 업그레이드 하는 방법이 있긴 하지만 보통 삽질이 아니라서 ;;
