리눅스에서 윈도우즈에 연결된 프린터 사용하기는 정녕 불가능인

윈도우즈 2000에 연결된 HP5000 프린터가 있습니다.

이걸 리눅스에서 사용할려고 하는데 printtool로 설정하여서

인쇄를 하면 2줄정도 이상한 메세지만 나오고 출력이 안됩니다.

사용가능합니다.
저 역시 윈도우즈 2000에 설치된 HP 5L 레이저젯 프린터를 삼바로 잡아서 잘사용했습니다.
처음엔 윈도우즈 2000이 설치된 컴퓨터 이름이 한글로 되어있어서 잘안되더군요..
그래서 "Samba Name of Printer server" 부분에 컴퓨터 이름 대신에 ip로 바꾸어주니 잘되더군요.

아마 postscript기능이 있어야 할겁니다.

그리고 인쇄도 postscript로 인쇄해야 할것이고요.

예전에 samba로 썼던거 같은데 ,그 때도 postscript로 했었던것 같습니다. samba매뉴얼을 보시고, 프린터설정은 postscript로 하고 해보시기 바랍니다.

HP5000LE는 PostScript를 지원하지 않더군요.

그런데 저는 계속 PostScript를 드라이버로 잡았으니 안되는 것이 당연한거였죠.

그래서 레드햇에 있는 hpijs(?) 로 드라이버를 설정하니 바로 되더군요.

그리고 Omni드라이버로도 잘 되네요.
