python 출력 정렬하기

print ('%s: ' % item.ljust(10))

위 코드와 같이 정렬해서 출력하려고 했는데
아래 출력 결과와 같이 only 영어 문자열은 정렬이 잘 되는데
한글이 섞이면 마치 (영문자로 2칸을 차지하는) 한글문자가 1칸으로 계산되어 출력되는 것 같이
정렬이 안됩니다.
한글도 잘 정렬되어 출력되도록 할 수도 있을까요?
(단, 한글이 깨지는 것은 아닙니다. 잘 출력됩니다.)
