tr 명령어 어떻게 이해해야 되나요?

overthewire에서 bandit11문제를 풀고 있습니다.
tr이라는 명령어가 나오던데요.
tr 'a-dy-z' 'A-DY-Z' <-이건 무슨 의미인지 알겠습니다.
