여러명이서 개발할 때 사용할만한 개발환경도구

친구들끼리 프로젝트 하나 진행하려고 하는데 깃이나 리눅스 subversion 중에 고민하고 있습니다..
제가 전에 리눅스 유틸리티 관련된 책을 읽어서 그런지 subversion을 사용하고 싶은데 학생 신분이다보니 서버 컴퓨터를 일반 제 컴퓨터로 구축해야 하는 상황입니다.
그렇게 되면 subversion을 만든 의미가 없어지는 것일까요? 제 컴을 항상 켜놓을 수는 없으니 깃을 사용해야 할 수밖에 없는 것일까요?

반드시 네이티브로 구축해야 하는게 아니라면
가능한한 공공제를 이용하는게 좋지 않나 싶네요.

소스 자체를 외부에 오픈해도 된다면 [https://github.com/] 도 괜찮겠지만,
비공개로 진행하고 싶다면 [https://about.gitlab.com/] 도 좋겠습니다.
(보통...네이티브로 git환경을 구축할 때도 보통 gitlab을 쓰는 걸로 알고 있습니다만...)

https://about.gitlab.com/products/ <- CE(Community Edition)는 무료제공이지요..
요기 무료판의 제한사항을 보고 판단하시면 어떨까요?
지금은 제한사항이 정확히 어찌 되는지 모르겠네요.
예전엔 프로젝트 단위별 10GB용량제한이 있었는데...
암튼...멀티미디어 잔뜩 들어가는 어플리케이션이 아니라면 무료판으로도 충분하지 않을까 싶어요.
