플래시 메모리의 CHS 주소는 어떻게 정해집니까?

실린더, 헤더, 섹터 아무것도 없는 장치에서, 도대체 무슨 기준으로 정해지는 겁니까?

파티션닝 툴에서 임의로 정하는 건가요?

MBR 헤더 분석하다가 궁금해서 질문드립니다.

SSD, USB memory 같은 경우엔 내장된 FTL 이 적당히 처리합니다.

flash memory 가 I/O 에 바로 물려있는 경우엔 OS 드라이버가 적당히 처리합니다.
ram disk 도 마찬가지.

SD memory card 처럼 장치가 FTL 을 내장하고 있지만 HDD 호환이 아닌 경우엔 OS 드라이버에서 적당히 처리합니다.

SD memory card 를 USB card reader 기기에 꽂아서 사용할 경우엔 USB card reader 에 내장된 firmware 가 적당히 처리합니다.
그래서, 간혹 문제가 생기는 경우가 있습니다.
SD card 를 USB memory reader 에 꽂아서 PC 에 연결한 다음에 파티션을 잡고, 그 카드를 빼서 SD card slot 이 있는 노트북에 꽂는 경우.
