커널 패닉 등으로 리부팅 시 Oops 메세지 없이 가능한가요?

시리얼 콘솔로 연결해 놓은 dell 장비를 모니터링하고 있습니다.
그런데 1초에 한번씩 date 실행해놓은 스크립트를 출력하다가 아무런 로그없이 (시리얼 터미널에서) 리부팅되어 Dell 부팅 시 BIOS 메세지가 뜨네요.
혹시 커널 문제 (메모리 침범 등) 으로 이런것이 가능할지 궁금합니다. 예전에 메모리를 잘못 읽었을 때 Invalid Page Fault 관련 oops 메세지가 분명 떴었거든요.
