shared memory의 속도 저하 관련 문의합니다.

안녕하세요. P2020으로 하드웨어를 개발하는 사람입니다.

P2020의 DDR3 메모리 일부분을 공유메모리로 할당하여

PCI로 연결된 디바이스와 Data를 Read/Write하고 있습니다.

문제는 공유메모리 영역에 Read/Write 속도와 로칼영역의 Read/Write속도가 차이가 납니다.

테스트환경은 P2020은 공유메모리영역에 Read/Write를 합니다.
이때 동시에 엑세스하지않도록 다른 Device는 동작하지 않습니다.

공유영역이냐 아니냐에 따라 속도가 달라지는게 맞을까요?

공유영역을 mmap 을 어떻게 하시느냐에 다르지만,

일반적으로 공유메모리는 cache 가 꺼져있고 로컬 영역은 cache 가 켜져있을 수 있으니, 로컬 영역을 쓸때마다 flush 해보시고 쓰기 성능이 차이가 안나면 cache 효과입니다.
