더미허브 환경 에서 2G 본딩 하기

현재 환경상 iptime 더미 기가 허브에서 테스트 중입니다.

머신은 리눅스 centos 5.X 환경이구요. 대역폭을 늘려 스트리밍 채널 확장테스트 중입니다.

현재 머신의 같은 vendor의 NIC 를 1G+ 1G =2G로 본딩하였고 본딩 모드는 0 (라운드로빈) 했습니다.

os상 /proc/net/bonding/bond0 항목을 봐도 정상적으로 본딩이 되어있습니다.

하지만 실제로 테스트하면 1G 이상 출력(전송)이 되지 않습니다.

상대 서버도 마찬가지로 2G본딩 되고 같은 iptime 기가 더미허브에 물려있는 상태에서 iperf로 측정을 해도 최대 960Mbps 정도 밖에 나오지 않습니다.

오래되서 기억이 나지 않지만 다른 L2스위치에서 2G본딩해서 테스트 했을때는 정상적으로 출력이 됬었던것으로 기억하는데요...

왜 2G 본딩인데 출력이 1G 이상 못나가는게 이상해서 질문합니다.

더미허브라 그런걸까요? ㅠㅠ

스위치에 물리니 정상 출력 됩니다...
더미허브가 문제였습니다..-_-a

dummy hub가 문제가 아니라 iptime의 backplain이 1G 밖에 안될 겁니다.

더미허브면 모든 랜카드가 전송 대역을 공유합니다. 거기다 충돌도 나니 전송속도가 대역폭의 20~30%만 나와줘도 잘나온거고요.
