stderr 과 stdout

오류 메세지를 표시해줄때는 stderr을 사용하는 것을 볼수 있는데

stderr이나 stdout이나 화면에 출력해주는 것은 똑같은지 않나요 .?

머가 달라서 둘을 구분해서 따로 사용하는지

stdout과 stderr는 출력결과를 파이프로 따로 나눌 수 있습니다.

두개로 분리되어있다는 의미는 두개를 다른 의미로 사용가능하다는 의미입니다.

이름부터가 다릅니다. out, error
out == error는 아니니까요.

우리가 사용하는 컴퓨터에서 stderr와 stdout이 같은 장치를 사용하지만 stdout은 콘솔로 그대로 두고 stderr는 파일로 연결하든가 해서 별도의 로그를 기록하는 용도로 사용할 수 있습니다.

지금은 사용하지 않지만 stderr를 프린터로 연결해 놓으면 stderr로 출력되는 내용이 프린터로 출력할 수도 있습니다.

stdout 은 표준 출력을 뜻합니다. 모니터를 뜻하죠.
stderr 는 표준에러입니다.

즉, 같은 화면에 로그메세지가 뿌려져도 에러인지 아닌지에 따라
다르게 처리될수 있습니다.
