USB 외장 사운드카드가 리눅스에서 잡히나요?

IDC에서 쓰던 IBM 서버를
집에 가져와서 데스크탑으로 쓰려는데
사운드 카드가 없네요..
..
1U 짜리 납작한건데 뜯어보니 PCI 슬롯 자체가 없네요
..
USB 등으로 외장형식으로 사운드 카드를
사용할수가 있나요?
..
OS 는 우분투 리눅스를 사용하려고 합니다.

물론 어느제품이 잘 인식되는지 미리 잘 알아보고 구입해야겠죠.

USB 사운드 카드라면 특별한 게 아니면 어지간해서는 리눅스에서 인식될 겁니다. 아주 오래전에 엘레콤에서 나온 걸 썼는데 잘 인식되더라고요.

ps. 1U짜리라면 데스크톱으로 쓰기에 소음이 심할 것 같은데 어떻던가요?
