unrar -xp"Von Thünen model" a.part1.rar ← 뭐가 잘못됐을까요?

자우루스에 설치한 데비안 리눅스입니다. UTF8 환경이고요.
압축파일 비밀번호에 독일어 움라우트가 들어가서 윈도우즈에서는 안 풀리더라고요.
리눅스용 unrar-free를 깔았습니다. 0.0.1이라고 하네요.

unrar -xp"Von Thünen model" a.part1.rar

이랬더니 별다른 에러메시지도 없고 압축도 안 풀립니다.
비밀번호를 입력하라는 프롬프트가 떠서 새로 입력해 줘도 마찬가지고요.

unrar -xp a.part1.rar

이렇게만 해줘서 프롬프트에 비밀번호를 입력해 봐도 마찬가지입니다.
움라우트를 키보드로 입력할 수는 없어서 메모장에서 복사해다 ctrl+shift+v로 뜯어 붙였는데, 이게 문제일까요?

unrar -xpVon\sThünen\smodel a.part1.rar

이렇게 해줘도 안 되네요. ^^;
뭐가 문제일까요?

일단 생각나는 것은 latin1 / UTF-8 문제일 수 있겠네요.
또는 unrar-free가 몇몇 RAR 3.0 포맷은 못 푼다고 하니 그냥 unrar (non-free)로 해 보시는 것도 좋겠구요.
