make의 -n 옵션에 대해서

안녕하세요. make의 -n 옵션에 대해서 질문이 있습니다.

-n 옵션을 사용하면 실제로 object를 생서하지 않고 컴파일하는 커맨드만 출력해주는 것으로 알고 있습니다.
출력을 파일로 리다이렉트하면 각 .c 파일에 대한 컴파일 커맨드를 얻을 수 있습니다.
그런데 이렇게 얻은 커맨드의 문자수가 엄청난 -I옵션 때문에 255자를 넘어버리는 경우가 있는데,
이런 경우에 한 파일만 컴파일 해볼려고 하면 커맨드 창의 입력글자수 제한 때문에 컴파일을 할 수 없게 됩니다.

이런 문제를 해결할 수 있는 방법이 있나요?

참고로 사용하는 컴파일러는 RVCT와 cygwin의 조합입니다.

아니면 단계적으로 o 파일 만들어서 하던가... 아 o 파일을 만들어서는 안되는 거라면...
