커널 컴파일 질문입니다.

페도라 코어12 를 설치한 상태에서

커널 2.6.32.8 버전을 커널 컴파일을 했습니다.

처음에 커널 선택 메뉴 나오고

2.6.32.8을 선택하여 부팅하면

페도라 로딩 메뉴가 지나가고

x윈도우가 나올 차례에서

그냥 검은 화면에 프롬프트만 뜨고 더이상 진행이 안되네요

starting atd : [ok]

까지만 나오고 화면이 깜박거리더니 더이상 진행이 안됩니다...

아 정말 이거때문에 벌써 컴파일만 몇 번 째인지...

혹시 왜 그러는지 알 수 있을까요...

진행 순서는

압축 풀고 압축 푼 폴더에 현재 .config를 복사

make menuconfig (수정 안하고 exit)

make

make modules_install

make install

이렇게 진행 했습니다.

컴퓨터는 학교 컴퓨터로

삼성 매직스테이션 DB A75라고 되있네요...

grub에서 kernel뒤에 3 치면 가능합니다.
지금 상태는 부팅이 안되는게 x문제인지 커널문제인지 불학실합니다.
텍스트 모드에서 부팅이 잘되면 x문제입니다.
여기서도 부팅이 안되면 커널문제이고
x문제라도 실제로는 x에서 필요로 하는 기능이 커널에서 빠졌을수도 있습니다
