Kernel 2.6 과 Postgresql 7.3.3 에러가 발생하였습니다. 도와주세요 ㅠㅠ

현재 IBM 3650 64비트 서버에 CentOS 5.2 32비트를 설치하였습니다.
메모리 8G 정도.
그리고 Postgresql 7.3.3 을 설치하여서 활용하려고 하던중에
./initdb 까지는 성공하였으나
./pg_ctl -D ........... 를 하던도중에 아래와 같은 에러가 발생하였습니다.
이것 저것 해 보았으나 아직도 해결이 안되네요.

에러 메세지 (logfile)

IpcSemaphoreCreate: semget(key=5432129, num=17, 03600) failed: 장치에 남은 공간이 없음

This error does *not* mean that you have run out of disk space.

It occurs when either the system limit for the maximum number of
semaphore sets (SEMMNI), or the system wide maximum number of
semaphores (SEMMNS), would be exceeded. You need to raise the
respective kernel parameter. Alternatively, reduce PostgreSQL's
consumption of semaphores by reducing its max_connections parameter
(currently 512).

The PostgreSQL Administrator's Guide contains more information about
configuring your system for PostgreSQL.

동일하게 CentOS 5.2 64비트 버전에서는 에러가 안나네요.
부득이하게 32비트로 셋팅해서 사용하려고 하는데요 .

혹시 위와 같은 에러 해결하신분 계시면 저좀 도와주세요.
