nfs 로 파일이 많은 디렉토리를 복사 했더니 이상한 현상이 발생

백업을 위해 nfs 를 통해 6.2 -> 7.3 로 파일을 복사했더니 파일이 많은
디렉토리가 정상적으로 완전히 복사되지 않습니다.
ls | wc -l /해당디렉토리
이런식으로 체크해보면 일부 디렉토리의 원본과 복사된 파일갯수는 일치하는데
du -h /해당디렉토리
를 해서 보면 파일사이즈가 다릅니다.
몇번에 걸쳐 해봤지만 결과는 마찬가지입니다.

Red Hat 6.2(kernel 2.2.x)와 7.x(2.4.x) 에서 하나의 디렉토리 들어갈 수 있는 파일갯수 등과 같은 문제가 있어서 그럴까요?
아니면 다른 문제일까요?

같은 크기의 파일들을 복사한다고 하더라도....
파일시스템에 따라서 차지하는 크기가 달라집니다..........
예를 들어, 그냥 빈 디렉토리를 수만개 만든다고 해도 ext2, ext3, reiserfs 세가지 모두가 사용하는 용량이 다릅니다....
(기억하기로는, 수백만개의 디렉토리를 만들면 ext2나 ext3의 경우에는 수백메가, reiserfs는 이의 1/4 수준 정도만 차지한다 하더군요... 그냥 어렴풋한 기억이기 때문에 정확한 수치는 아닙니다.... 궁금하시면 filesystem간의 성능차이를 분석해 놓은 문서를 찾아보세요)

결국 정확히 똑같은 내용을 복사해 넣더라도 차지하는 용량은 미세하게 다르게 됩니다....
