libcap으로 패킷을 캡쳐 하려고 하는데...

이해 안되는 부분이 있습니다.

제가 이해하기로는 패킷을 캡쳐 한다는 것이

같은 서브넷 상의 모든 패킷(같은 게이트웨이를 쓰는)을

캡쳐 한다고 알고 있는데...

맞는 건가요?

서브넷이라는 것의 의미를 정확히 모르겠습니다.

스위칭 환경이 아닌 더미 허브를 통해서 연결된 네트워크로 흘러다니는
패킷들을 캡춰하지요.
