리눅스 배포본을 깔아놓고 보면 lib 라는 이니셜을 가진 수많은 패키지가 존재 합니다. 왜 이렇게 조각조각 내서 패키지화 시킨건가요? 그리고 이 패키지들 의 쓰임새에 대해서 설명이된 문서는 없는건가요?

X 윈도우즈 같은거 설치 안하는 사람덜에게 Xlib 는
공간낭비입니다. 각종 개발 라이브러리도 마찬가지이구요.
이것 말고도 각종 라이브러리를 개발하는 주체가 모두
다르다는 것도 한 이유가 되겠네요... 하루에도
수십개의 라이브러리가 생기고, 버전업되고, 기억속에
묻혀버리는데 누가 이를 관리할지...
