computer organization이 무엇인가요??

Computer Architecture 강의를 들을라고 하는데 교수님이 Computer Organization을 선행하고 들어야 한다고 하는데요,
Computer Organization이 하드웨어쪽 관련된 학문인가요?
organization에 관련된 공부를 할려면 어떤 서적을 봐야할까요??

컴퓨터의 기본 작동구조를 배우실 겁니다.
CPU와 메모리, 그리고 주변장치와의 통신이 어떻게 되는지부터 입니다.

Architecture로 넘어가게 되면 Organization에서 배운 CPU, 메모리, 주변장치에서 이를 고속화하기 위한 각종 트릭(파이프라인, 캐쉬 등)들과 주변장치와의 효율적인 인터페이스를 위한 통신방식(polling, interrupt, DMA)를 배우게 됩니다. 실메모리가 부족해도 프로그램이 돌아갈 수 있도록 하는 가상메모리 기법 등의 기본 원리도 여기서 배우게 됩니다.
