rsync 트래픽 관련 (inbound/outbound)

IDC에 서버가 있습니다.

inbound 는 무제한이고,
outbound는 traffic에 비례하여 과금이 됩니다.

IDC서버에 있는 자료를 로컬에 가지고 올때
rsync를 이용한다면 traffic이 어떻게 되나요?

서버에 100G가 있고, 로컬에 중복된 90G가 있는데,
100G 에 대해서 로컬에서 rsync 를 걸면,

outbound가 10G 가 되는게 맞는지요?

생각해보면 90G에 대해서도 같은 데이터라는 것을 확인하려면,
최소한의 정보를 통신해야할 것 같은데요..
이 데이터의 분량은 어느정도나 되는지요?
( 예를 들어 위와 같은 상황:
90G 만큼의 동일 데이터이고, 파일 개수는 10M짜리가 9,000개 있는 경우)

이 데이터는 서버입장에서는 inbound인지 outbound 인지요?
