grooveshark 에서 음악을 듣는 것은 불법인가?

며칠 전 이곳에 달린 답변중에 grooveshark를 추천받아서 잘 듣고 있습니다.

평소엔 돈내고 멜론에서 들었는데, grooveshark에서 제공되는 RADIO(유사한 음악 연속 듣기 기능)가 너무 좋아서

요즘은 여기서만 듣고 있습니다.

근데 이게 합법인지 아닌지 헷갈리네요. 설명을 보면 표면적으론 합법이라고 하는데

과연 음원 제작자들에게 동의받고 서비스 되는건지 모르겠습니다. p2p music 라고 하니 대중가요 듣기는 불법인 것 같기도 하고..

불법일지도 몰라 아직 지인들에게 추천을 못해주고 있습니다.

우워. 저도 덕분에 grooveshark 가봤는데 좋네요.

오른쪽에 광고가 뜨던데, 음원사 등에 얼마정도 금액을 주고 그 돈을 광고로 충당하는게 아닐까요? 이쪽은 수익 모델이 어떤지 몰라서 잘 모르겠네요
