kexec 에서 vmlinux 이미지가 달라도 되는지요?

kexec를 수행하는데,
현재 동작중인 커널(예:PCI disable)과 다른 커널(예:PCI enable)을 loading해서
다른 커널을 실행시킬수 있는지요?
또한, 커널+initramfs 이미지로 동작중인 커널에서 initramfs에 다른 내용(사이즈가 더 커짐)
을 담은 커널 이미지를 loading해서 reboot 가능한지요?

사용 커널 : 2.6.20
CPU : mips32

일단 전자는 되고요. (x86에서 해봤습니다.)
커널 옵션은 grub 설정보시고 잘 주세요.

후자는 해보지 않았습니다만 될 것 같네요.
커널이 바뀌면 모듈들도 대개 바뀔텐데
당연히 다른 initrd가 되어야하지 않을까요 ? ^^;
--initrd 옵션은 필요할 겁니다. ;;

두번째도 됩니다.
initramfs 내용물 변경은 생각보다 자주 일어나는 일이 아닌가 생각합니다만;;
다만 거기에 제약사항이 좀 있을 것 같은데, 자세히는 모르겠습니다.
간단한 툴과 스크립트만 넣는게 보통이다보니... (드라이버도.)
