gentoo mysql wireless

gentoo가 설치된 노트북에 mysql-5.0.70-r1을 설치 했습니다.

mysql 설치는 에러 없이 잘 됐습니다.

그런데 노트북이라 인터넷 연결을 유선으로 연결할때도 있고 무선으로 할때도 있습니다.

무선 연결인 상태에서 mysql을 시작하려고 하니까

# /etc/init.d/mysql start
 * Starting eth0
 *   Bringing up eth0
 *     dhcp
 *       Running dhcpcd ...
eth0: dhcpcd 4.0.7 starting
eth0: waiting for carrier
eth0: timed out                                                           [ !! ]
 * Starting eth0

eth0: dhcpcd 4.0.7 starting
eth0: waiting for carrier
eth0: timed out                                                           [ !! ]
 * ERROR:  cannot start netmount as net.eth0 could not start

netmount 를 할 수 가 없다고 나오네요.
현재 무선(wlan0)으로만 인터넷이 가능한데요. 혹시 무선 또는 오프라인 상태에서 mysql을 실행시킬수 있을까요?

/etc/rc.conf
rc_hotplug="!net.*"

요렇게 하면 자동으로 올라오지 않습니다.

알려주신대로 바꿔주고 다시 실행해봤는데도 같은 에러가 뜹니다. 재부팅도 해줬는데도 마찬가지네요.

$ sudo /etc/init.d/mysql start

아래처럼 바꿔봤는데도 여전히 같은 현상이네요.

rc_hotplug="!net.eth0"

ifplugd 설치하니까 해결 됐습니다. 

emerge sys-apps/ifplugd

음...데스크탑에서는 rc default 에 net.* 를 아무것도 올리지 않고 wicd 로 사용합니다.
그 차이도 있겠네요.
ifplugd 는 설치하지 않았습니다.
