MS 윈도우즈 메모장에서 인코딩을 '유니코드'로 해서 저장한 텍

MS 윈도우즈 메모장에서 인코딩을 '유니코드'로 해서 저장한 텍스트를 gvim 6.3에서 열면 깨져서 보입니다. 제대로 볼려면 어떻게 해야 하나요?

_vimrc 파일에서 encoding, fileencoding, fileencodings 항목을 적절히 수정 해야 할 거 같습니다만, 어떻게 해야 할 지 모르겠네요.

XML file below as Unicode (note that the ... Windows 2000 Notepad with Encoding.
Windows 2000 Notepad files saved as Unicode use "UTF-16" encoding. ..

utf-16인 것 같습니다만.. 어떻게 해야 할지는 저도 모르겠네요 ㅎ

Windows XP에는 UTF-8도 있답니다.

set fileencodings=ucs-bom,utf-8,cp949,latin1
으로 설정해 주세요.
fileencoding 은 설정해주지 마세요.
그러면 파일을 읽을때 fileencoding 값이 자동으로 설정될겁니다.
그리고 윈도우라면 제어판에 국가별설정에서 유니코드가 아닌 응용프로그램을 위한 언어설정을 한국어로 해주세요.
이설정이 한국어로 되어있지 않으면 vim에서 파일인코딩을 정확히 인식하더라도 화면에 출력할때 한글이 깨져서 나오게 됩니다.
