html에 관해 몇가지 질문이 있습니다..

안녕하세요?
현재 취미로 html을 공부하고 있는 학생입니다.

홈페이지를 만들려고 하는데 hypertext를 이용해 링크를 만들고 있습니다.
링크 주소를 쓸 때마다 "mydomain.com/~xxx/main.htm" 이런 식으로 넣고 있는데
생각해 보니 나중에 다른 서버로 옮기면 "mydomain.com" 이 부분을 하나씩
바꿔야겠더군요. 이문제를 주로 어떻게 해결하는지 알고 싶습니다.

둘째로 제가 가지고 있는 폰트를 웹상에 출력할 수 있는지 궁금합니다.
할 수 있다면 어떻게 하는지 알려주시면 감사하겠습니다.

1. 상대주소를 쓰세요.
mydomain.com/~xxx/main.htm 을 열었다고 가정하고 아래와 같은 링크가 있다고 하면

<a href="current.htm">Main</a>  mydomain.com/~xxx/current.htm
<a href="../parent.htm">Parent</a>  mydomain.com/parent.htm
<a href="public/child.htm">Child</a>  mydomain.com/~xxx/public/child.htm

2. 폰트는 현재 컴퓨터에 있는 폰트만 보입니다.
만약 다른 사람이 whizvast님의 홈페이지에 왔을 때 해당 폰트가 없다면 기본 폰트로 보입니다.
반드시 방문자가 그 폰트를 쓰게 하고 싶다면, 먼저 폰트를 설치하도록 유도해야합니다. 하지만 쉽지 않은 일이죠.

2. MSIE의 경우 embedded font가 있습니다.

Embedded OpenType(확장명 .eot)이라는 글꼴 형식이 있는데,
그것을 사용하시면 Microsoft Internet Explorer에서는 글꼴을 표시할 수 있습니다.
