CD-ROM부팅이 안됩니다.

컴터 사양은 팬티엄2 셀러론433 입니다.
좀 오래 됐긴 하지만 WindowXP 설치에 인터넷 하는데는
큰 지장이 없습니다.

근데 이번에 우분투를 설치 할려고 하는데, CD-ROM 부팅이 안되더군요

시디는 ISO를 받아서 제대로 구운것 같고,
CD-ROM부팅 설정도 제대로 했는데 부팅이 안됩니다.

ISOLINUX 3.11 Debian-2006-03-16 isolinux:
Cannot boot from this CD. Please use CD2 or try a BIOS update.

바이오스에서 지원을 못하는거 같은데,
다른 방법으로 설치 할 수 는 없나요?

컴터 자세한 사양을 올립니다.
우분투 사용에 괜찮을지....

씨디롬 부팅이 안되는 경우는 다음과 같이 하나씩 따져보세요.

첫째, cmos 셋업에서 첫번째 부팅이 cdrom으로 되어 있는지 확인합니다.
이것이 되어있어야 씨디롬 부팅이 가능합니다.

둘째, 부팅이 가능한 씨디인가를 따져야 합니다.
이미지자체를 구웠다니 부팅이 가능할 걸로 생각되어서 이 단계는 필요없을 것 같지만,
간혹가다가 씨디가 불량인 경우도 있고, 이미지가 손상된 경우도 있을 수 있고,
아이에스오 이미지파일을 이미지굽기로 안 굽고 데이터굽기로 구운 경우도 설치가 안됩니다.

셋째, 하드웨어중에서 특정부분이 설치를 원하는 오에스를 지원못하는 경우도 있습니다.
그래픽설치보다는 텍스트설치가 더 많이 지원되는 편입니다.

텍스트설치로도 설치가 안된다면, 그 하드웨어를 지원하는 다른 종류를 설치해야 합니다.
