(요즘) CENTOS yum 기본 repository주소로 업데이트 되시는 분?

안녕하세요.

CENTOS 4.1로 http, db서버로 사용하고 있습니다.
CENTOS 4.1 yum의 기본 리포지토리를 사용하고 있습니다. 주소를 별도로 추가하거나 삭제, 수정은 없습니다.

그리곤 평소 yum upgrade로 업데이트를 아무 문제없이 하곤 했는데,

[root@system7 ~]# yum list
Setting up Repos
http://mirror.centos.org/centos/4/updates/i386/repodata/repomd.xml: [Errno 4] IOError: <urlopen error (104, 'Connection reset by peer')>
Trying other mirror.
Cannot open/read repomd.xml file for repository: update
failure: repodata/repomd.xml from update: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to try.

갑자기 한 5일 전부터는 리포지토리에 접속이 불가능하다는 메세지가 나오며 업데이트가 되지 않습니다. :(

시간이 지나면 자연스레 정상화 될, 요즘 centos쪽 다운로드 서버의 일시적인 리포지토리 에러일까요?
아니면 제 리눅스 박스의 yum에 문제가 있다고 봐야하는 건가요?

yum에 관해서는 OS설치시는 물론, 시간이 흐르면서도 기본적으로 잡혀 있는 것 이외에 전혀 손을 댄 적이 없는데 의외네요. 또한 이 리눅스 박스는 저 혼자 관리를 하고 있기 때문에, 다른 관리자가 수정을 했을 일은 없습니다.

다른 분들은 CENTOS 기본 리포지토리 접속이 어떠신가요?

/etc/yum.repos.d/ 가서 설정파일 보시고 직접 접속해보세요.

전 FC4 쓰는데 가끔 안되서 가보면 사이트 점검중이더군요.

링크가 살아있는지 확인해 보았습니다만..

cat CentOS-Base.repo

무척 느리게나마 접속이 되는 걸로 보아, 결과적으로 정상적으로 서비스 되고 있는 모양이네요.

아~ centos 사용하시는 분의 요즘 yum 상황에 대해서 궁금하네요.

현재 안되고 있습니다.
centos포럼에서도 동일한 논의가......
신버전이 나오면서 문제가 있는 것 같고요

참고로 임시 해결책 퍼왔습니다.

Hi Guys,

I'm new to CentOS. On the Thursday (13th) I installed CentOS 4.1 x86_64 which worked perfectly. The next day, Saturday (14th), up2date seemed to be broken. I finally discovered that the mirror repositories are missing the 4 directory trees. The 4.1 trees seem to be still there. As a tempory fix for yum I hacked the file /etc/yum.repos.d/CentOS-Base.repo, changing all references to version 4 as follows

#ORIG baseurl=http//mirror.centos.org/centos/$releasever/updates/$basearch/
baseurl=http//mirror.centos.org/centos/4.1/updates/$basearch/

To fix for up2date hack the file /etc/sysconfig/rhn/sources as follows

# yum centos4-Base http//mirror.centos.org/centos/4/os/$ARCH/
# yum centos4-Updates http//mirror.centos.org/centos/4/updates/$ARCH/
# yum centos4-extras http//mirror.centos.org/centos/4/extras/$ARCH/
# yum centos4-addons http//mirror.centos.org/centos/4/addons/$ARCH/

yum centos4-Base http//mirror.centos.org/centos/4.1/os/$ARCH/
yum centos4-Updates http//mirror.centos.org/centos/4.1/updates/$ARCH/
yum centos4-extras http//mirror.centos.org/centos/4.1/extras/$ARCH/
yum centos4-addons http//mirror.centos.org/centos/4.1/addons/$ARCH/

This seems to work for me

현재 4.2의 yum은 문제가 없는데 4.2 yum 제작하다가 4.1 yum을 신경 못쓰고 있었습니다. 4.1쪽은 업그레이드되면서 조정해야 하는 부분이 있는데 그 부분에 대해서 손을 못본 부분이 있네요.

CENTOS 측의 문제였었나보네요.

현재 centos에서 모든 yum update는 이전과 같이 정상적으로 작동 합니다.

관심 갖아주신 두 분 정말 감사드립니다. :lol:
