ubuntu kernel compile

우분투를 깔았습니다.

역시 편하네요^^

어제 질문 하나 올렸지만 GDM에 관한 것이라 이어 쓰지는 않습니다.

(로그인 관리라는 이름의 프로그램이 있는 줄 몰랐습니다^^;;)

여하튼 여타 배포판과 같이 커널 컴파일을 하고자 /usr/src/linux-2.6.13 으로 들어가서

make gconfig 또는 make menuconfig 시 아래와 같이 나옵니다.

특히 apt-get update 하여 패키지 명을 업데이트 한 후에

apt-cache search ^ncurses 를 하여도

ncurses-devel 이라는 패키지는 찾을 수가 없었고 ncurses가 제목에 들어가 있는 패키지는 이미 모두 깔려 있다고 하네요...ㅠ.ㅠ

apt-get install libncurses5-dev
로 하시면 됩니다
그리고 커널 컴파일 하실때 make-kpkg라는 데비안 방식을 추천합니다
커널을 시스템에 직접 인스톨하지 않고 패키지만 만들어 주어서 설치/언인스톨하기가 쉽더군요 kernel-package 라는 패키지를 인스톨하면 사용가능합니다

아, 위 패키지를 깔고 menuconfig 를 하니 잘 되는군요.
처음엔 에러가 뜨길래 뭔가 잘못한 줄 알았더니 터미널 창이 너무 작아서 앙탈을 부리는 것이더군요.;;

make-kpkg 를 하니 make config 와 동일하게 진행을 하더군요.
뭔가 다른 것 같지 않아서 CTRL-C 로 빠져 나왔습니다.;;
