Vmware에서 우분투의 해상도 조절?

안녕하세요..

이제 제가 슬슬 체계가 잡혀나가는 느낌입니다.

현재 Vmware로 Kubuntu를 돌리고 있는데요..

노트북 화면이 작아서 (12.1인치...) VMware 내의 쿠분투를

800.600 정도의 해상도로 조절하여 MS 윈도우와 같은 화면에서

잘 쓰고 싶은데 1024.768에서 해상도를 낮추니

쿠분투 X윈도가 알아볼 수 없게 깨지는군요.

해상도 낮출 수 있는 방법이 없을까요?..

검색해보니 다른 분들은 VMware 안에서 해상도를 높이려

노력하시던데..;;;;

X의 데스크톱 설정을 하지 마시구...

/etc/X11/xorg.conf 파일의 1024x768 이상의 해상도들을 다 지워버리세요..

그리고.. gdm(kdm?) 을 다시 실행하면.. 됩니다.

"800x600" 앞쪽에 1024X768이 있었는데 지웠습니다.

위와 같이 조절해도 1024 해상도로 뜨는군요..;;

혹시 VMWARE TOOL은 설치하셨는지요 만약 안 하셨으면 설치하시고 설치도중에 나오는 해상도 설정부분에서 한번 설정해보세요

인생이란게 다 그런게 아니겠어요....? 뭘(?)
