html 렌더러를 만드는게 얼마나 어려운 일일까요?

언젠가html렌더러를 만들어서 검색엔진봇에 붙여가지고 스냅샷을 저장하는 프로그램을 생각해 본적이 있습니다.물론 X를 띄우지 않은 상태에서 리눅스에서 돌려보자는게 생각이었는데..윈도우에서는 어렵지 않게 할수는 있습니다.

관련프로젝트가 있나해서 찾아봤더니..쓸만한게 없더군요..과연 어떤식으로 만드는지가 궁금합니다.

모질라의 렌더러를 가져다가 쓸수 있지 않을까요?
모질라도 lynx 같은 몇몇 텍스트 브라우저가 지원하는 dump 기능이 있으면 좋을텐데, 아쉽네요

html 제대로 보여주려면 css 도 봐야 하고, 여러가지로 골치 아프니 어떻게든 모질라 코드를 가져다 쓰는 방법뿐일듯 합니다.

윈도에선 어떻게 하셨나요? IE 컨트롤 하나 만들어서 페이지 로딩하고 dc 잡아 저장하면 되나요?
