리눅스용 디스플레이칩 드라이버를 어디서 찾아야 할까요?

pxa255보드에 디스플레이 칩을 달아서

모니터에 출력하도록 만드려고 합니다.

이 보드에 리눅스를 포팅할건데요

이럴때 사용할만한 디스플레이 칩이 있을까요?

있다면 그 드라이버는 어디서 찾아야 할까요?

임베디드쪽은 거의 몰라서 좀 말이 안되는 질문인것 같지만

정보를 부탁드리겠습니다.

디스플레이를 그래픽 환경에서 Nano-X를 사용하겠다면 frame buffer driver가 지원되는 칩을 찾으면 됩니다. PXA255 칩이라니 내장 LCD controller를 사용하는 방법을 생각해도 될 것 같고, PCI controller를 추가로 달았다면 PCI display adapter 중에서 고를 수도 있고, 제품을 만드는 것이라면 그쪽에 맞춰서 OSD나 다른 기능도 지원하는 칩을 찾아도 되고...

지금 MediaQ 시리즈를 알아보고 있습니다.

Nvidia에 인수된 이후로는 어떻게 지원하는지를 모르겠네요.

모니터로 비디오를 출력하는 보드들은

falinux에서 나온 exboard-vga를 보니까

epson 칩을 달고 있던데 그런건 뭔가요?

이런 칩들은 칩을 사면 OS별로 드라이버를 보내주나요?

VGA 출력 및 NTSC/PAL 출력이 가능하고
리눅스 디바이스 드라이버도 2.4 용으로
제공이 되는 것 같습니다.
