grub 설정

여러고수님 덕분에 결국 젠투에 grub 설치하고 부팅까지 시켰습니다. 정말 지치네요. 부팅까지 되고 다 좋은데. 부팅된 상태에서 /boot 내 파일은 텅텅비었습니다. ??? 어찌된일인지 모르겠네요.

어떤 분께서 알려주신 grub 설정입니다.

/boot 로 라벨링 되어 있는 hda1에 /grub 라는 디렉토리가 있어야 합니다.
그 디렉토리 안에는 stage1, stage2, grub.conf, splash.xpm.gz 이렇게 4개의 파일이 있다고 생각하겠습니다.

먼저 grub.conf 파일의 내용에 아래와 같이 적어 넣습니다.
코드:
timeout=10
default=0
splashimage=(hd0,0)/grub/splash.xpm.gz

#gentoo section
title gentoo linux
root (hd0,0)
kernel /kernel-2.4.26-gentoo-r11 ro root=LABEL=/ <--레드햇이 아니므로 /root=/dev/hda2 로 고쳤습니다.
initrd /initrd-2.4.26-gentoo-r11

그리고나서,
텀에서 grub 를 실행 시킵니다. grub 쉘이 실행되면 아래의 명령을 차례로 입력합니다.
코드:
grub> root (hd0,0)
grub> install /grub/stage1 d (hd0)/grub/stage2 0x8000 p
grub> quit

----------------------------------------
이렇게 해주고
# etc-update
# exit
# cd /
# umount /mnt/gentoo/boot
# umnout /mnt/gentoo/proc
# umount /mnt/gentoo
# reboot

부팅되고나서
# cd /boot
# ls
#

이렇게 됩니다.

글을 보니 아마 /etc/fstab 의 문제가 아닐까 합니다
/etc/fstab 을 여신뒤 자동으로 /boot 를 부팅시 mount 하도록 설정하세요.
그런데 반드시 /boot 가 mount 될 필요가 있나요?
필요하실때만 하시는게 :D

음 /etc/fstab 화일상 마운트 포인트는 지정해 주었습니다.
다만, 위에 남겨좋은 과정은 설치과정의 순서일뿐입니다.

하나보다 둘이 낫다. 그리고 둘보다 셋이....셋보다 넷이..
