mysql 패스워드 세팅이...

리눅스 초보임다...

mysql 을 설치하고 패스워드를 설정 하려고 하는데...

다음과 같은 에러가 뜨네여...

mysql> updata user set password=password ('h05955') where user='root';
ERROR 1064: You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'updata user set password=password ('h05955') where user='root''

어떤 구문이 잘못된 건지... 한수 지도 부탁 드립니다.

^^ 초보가 많이 실수하는 오타 군요.

그렇지만, 초보라고, 그렇게 패스워드를 노출하시면 안될텐데..

사용자가 바꾸어 나가자!!

mysqladmin -u root password 'xxxxxx'

이런식으로 해도 됩니다.
단, mysql 을 다시 시작해야 합니다. :oops:
