Ping 이 외부로 안나갑니다.

서버는 Red Hat 6.2를 쓰고 있습니다.

언제부터인가 외부로 Ping 이 안나갑니다.

#ping lycos.co.kr
PING lycos.co.kr (211.55.31.40) from xx.x.x.xxx 56(84) bytes of
data.
From 218.145.44.74 Packet filtered

이런 메세지가 뜨고 있습니다.IP로 Ping 을 쳐도 마찬가지입니다.

아직까지 별다른 이상은 없습니다.

1. 외부에서 이쪽 서버로 Ping 도 옵니다. IP, 도메인명 둘다 옵니다.
2. 웹도 잘뜨고 외부에서 이쪽으로 접근도 가능합니다.
3. 이쪽서버에서 게이트웨이 까지는 Ping 이 나갑니다.
4. 이쪽서버에서 wget 사용시 도메인명을 쳐도 받습니다.
(/etc/resolv.conf 문제는 아니지요?)
5. dns 서버는 다른쪽에 있고 dns 에 등록된 나머지 서버들은 문제없이
작동합니다.
6. #ipchains -L
DENY icmp ------ !xxx.x.x.x/x xxx.x.x.x/x echo-reply
DENY icmp ------ !xxx.x.x.x/x xxx.x.x.x/x echo-reply

더 나오지만..Ping이 문제인거 같아서 올려봅니다.
ipchains은 하나도 몰라서..솔직히 이쪽 문제인지도 모르겠습니다.

고수님들 어디 쪽이 문제인지라도 알려주셨으면 합니다.

문제가 커질것 같아 걱정입니다. ㅡ,.ㅡ

6. #ipchains -L

이 부분 때문에 ping이 안되는게 아닐까요? 정확히 프로토콜에 대해서 본
적이 없어서 확실하지는 않습니다만.. icmp echo-reply가 ping에서 쓰이
는 것이라면.. 막히겠군요. 메시지도 필터되었다고 하는것을 보면 말이죠
