커널 2.6 에서 xwindow가 마우스를 잡질 못합니다.

커널 2.4 에서는 xwindow가 잘 동작합니다.

그런데 커널 2.6에서는 xwindow가 마우스를 못 잡는거 같는데요...

어떻게 해야되죠...

혹시 마우스가 USB 마우스는 아닌지요?
그냥 PS/2 마우스 인지요?

마우스가 X-window 에서만 안되는 것인지 아니면 콘솔상에서도 안되는 것인지요?

아마도 커널설정에 마우스 설정이 빠진것이 아닌가 생각이 됩니다.

사용자가 바꾸어 나가자!!

cat /dev/input 또는 cat /dev/input/mice 를 치고, 마우스를 움직여 보세요.
문자가 쓰여지나요?

USB용 휠 마우스인가요?
XFConfigure를 실행해서 마우스를 Auto로 설정해도 동작하는지요?
마우스가 어느 제품인지 밑면을 보면 알 수 있습니다.
Option "SendCoreEvents" 를 주석처리하면 어떨까요?

XFConfigure 라는 프로그램이 존재 하지 않는군요.
마우스는 마소 제품이라 ImPS/2로 했습니다.
SendCoreEvents를 주석처리 해도 마찬가지네요..

그런 장치가 없는데 그런 장치를 쓰라고 지정되어 있네요 :)
XFree86 -configure 나 xf86config를 이용해서 다시 설정 파일을 만들어보시고, 그래도 못잡으면 커널에서 빠져있을거 같네요.
