kernel 2.4.14 compile도중 에러...

2.4.14 커널 컴파일 도중에 에러가 났습니다.
블럭 디바이스 옵션중에 루프백 디바이스 옵션을 체크하고
컴파일 하는 도중에 에러가 발생하였는데 도데체 무슨
말인지 모르겠네요..
에러 내용의 마지막은 다음과 같습니다.
/drivers/block/block.o(.text+0x8cb6) undefined reference
to deactivate_page
물론 그대로 보면 deactivate_page란 놈을 참조못해서 에러가
났다고 하는데 이게 무슨 얘기인지 감조차도 못잡겠네요..
커널에 포함시켜 컴파일하면 위와같은 메세지가 뜨고요..
커널 모듈에 포함시켜도 마찬가지도 deactivate_page에 관한
에러가 뜨는 군요..
이걸 잡을수 있는 방법은 없는지요?
아니면 그냥 빼고 컴파일해도 상관없는지도 묻고 싶습니다.
또 한가지더.. 랜카드를 잡질 못하는데요..
에러메세지를 보니 netlink socket 어쩌구 저쩌구 나옵니다.
여기에 관해서도 아시는분은 답변을 부탁드립니다.

/usr/src/linux/drivers/block/loop.c 파일에서
deactivate_page(page); 라인 (두군데 있습니다.)를 지우고 컴파일 하시거나
2.4.15-preX 패치를 하시던지 하세요.
