cygwin에서 컴파일 하면 원래 느린가요?

cygwin에서 컴파일은 처음 해보는데

원래 이렇게 느린건가요?

같은걸 freebsd 서버에서 컴파일할때랑은 속도차가 열배 이상 나네요 (체감)

지금 사용하는 pc는 윈도2003서버에 애슬론1.2거든요 메모리 256이구요

펜4 2.4로 돌아가는 서버에서랑 차이가 심한데

원래 시그윈에서는 컴파일이 느린건지 궁금합니다.

그럴수도 있습니다
cygwin의 모든 풀그림은 cygwin.dll이라는 레이어를 통해서 win32api과 교류합니다.
간단히 애뮬해준다고 보아도 무방
그래서ㅗ 느릴 수도 잇음
