전 euc-kr을 사용하고 있습니다. 또, 노틸러스도 사용하고 있구요.
그런데 이제 여러 작업들을 하다보면 음악 파일이라던지, 문서 파일들은 한글 파일명으로 저장해야 할때가 있습니다. 노틸러스에서는 euc-kr이든 utf-8이든 한글 파일명을 잘 보여주지만 웹브라우져나, 커널에서는 한글이 깨지어서 나오게 됩니다. 그래서 한글 파일명의 경우에는 커널에서 한글 파일명으로 또다시 바꿔주어야하는 번거로움이 있는데요, 노틸러스에서 파일을 저장할때 euc-kr로 저장하도록 만들 수는 없는지요?

노트북에는 젠투 깔아서 쓰고
집에 있는 데스크탑은 수세 9.2를 깔아봤습니다.
그런데 원래 이렇게 불안정한가요?
큰 프로그램 돌리는 것도 아니고
xterm 2~3개 정도 띄워 놓고 하다보면
한두개 정도는 멈춰있습니다.
물론 kill로 죽일수 있지만 말이죠...
노트북에도 수세(9.0) 깔아서 써본적이 있지만
이렇게 어의없이 죽는 경우는 없었는데 말이죠
fedora나 데비안 깔아봤을 때는 이런 경우는 아예 없었습니다.

아무래도 커널이 불안정한 것 같은데...

DDD 설치시 ./configure 에서 다음과 같은 에러가발생합니다.

configure :error : The x11 library '-lx11' could not be found
please use the configure options '--x-includes=DIR'
and '--x-libraries=DIR' to specify the x location
see the files 'config.log'and 'ddd/config.log'
for further diagnostics

무엇이 문제인가요..?

그리고 DDD 는 어떤 순서로 설치하나요.?
