소켓 통신중 프로세스 상태에 대하여

아래 소켓통신 관련 다시 올립니다.
확인해본 결과 좀비상태는 아니었습니다.

ps상태를 확인해본결과
아래와 같았습니다.
server 18785 97.7 0.0 3376 724 ? Rs 16:04 44:46 ./app
server 23210 0.0 0.0 4992 624 pts/8 S+ 16:50 0:00 grep app
server 25017 0.0 0.0 3300 448 ? S 09:52 0:00 ./app

여기서 25017 은 최초 실행시 생긴 프로세스입니다.
그런데 R, S 등등 의미는 대충 알겠는데, Rs, Ss 등등 뒤에 붙는 것들은 어떻게
해석 해야하는지 모르겠습니다.
또한 위에서 Rs상태인 프로세스는 도중에 생긴 프로세스인데 종료될것 같지가 않습니다.
계속 실행중으로 되있는것 같은데 서버프로그램 자체는 오랫동한 처리되는 내용은 없고
잠깐 잠깐 처리되고 종료되는 프로그램입니다.
시간이 지날수록 저런 프로세스들이 계속 생길것으로 보이는데 왜그런지?
Rs프로세스는 언제 종료되며, 프로그램상 문제가 있어서 발생하는것인지?
Ss는 어떤의미인지? Ss는 생겼다가 없어집니다.
