라데온 9000(rv250) 컴피즈 문제

컴피즈가 안되서 무쟈게 고생하는 중입니다.
여기저기 찾다보니/etc/X11/xorg.conf를 만져줘야 한다는데요... [관련글]http://www.urinuri.net/176

근데 제 컴에서는 xorg.conf를 열어봐도 아래처럼만 나옵니다.

노트북이구요... HP presario X1000입니다.
우분투 설치하고 드라이버는 따로 안잡았습니다.
자동으로 잡히더군요. 아마도 오픈소스 드라이버가 설치된 것이 아닌가 생각되는데요.
(시냅틱 꾸러미에서 fglrx 검색했을 때 나오는 것 중에 xserver-xorg-video-ati에 체크되어 있습니다.)
xorg.conf에 ati 정보가 나오게 하려면 어떻게 해야하나요?
그리고 링크시킨 관련글처럼 하려면 어떻게 해야하나요? 조금 더 자세히 설명해주실 수 있으면 감사...
이 방법 말고 혹시 다른 방법을 알고 계시면 알려주셔도 너무 감사
