NFS 설치 중 문제 발생

처음 리눅스를 잡아본 초보입니다.

fedora 8.0을 이번에 새로 설치해서 NFS 구성을 해 보았습니다.

vmware에 환경을 2개 구성하여 모두 fedora 8.0을 설치했구요.

서버에 NFS 4를 설치하고 SELINUX는 permissive로 세팅, 방화벽도 일단 내렸습니다.

portmap은 따로 설치하지 않았구요.

localhost에서 showmount, rpcinfo -p 로 체크했을 때 정상적인 결과가 나왔고,

mount 까지 실행시켜보자 잘 되어서 뿌듯해 했는데,

클라이언트용으로 구성한 환경에서 showmount -a 명령을 실행해 보자, 아무것도 나오지 않았습니다.

rpcinfo -p 서버주소 를 실행해보니

rpcinfo: can't contact portmapper: RPC: Unknown host

라는 메시지를 출력합니다.

혹시 접속이 끊어져 있나 해서 ping을 넣어보았더니 정상적으로 들어가구요.

rpc 관련 서비스 문젠가 해서 service --status-all | grep rpc 명령어로 돌아가는 명령어 중 rpc 관련된 것들을 살펴보니

rpc.mountd
rpc.rquotad
rpc.statd
rpcbind
rpc.idmapd

서버와 클라이언트 모두 이 다섯개의 서비스가 실행중이네요.
