업그레이드를 위해 시스템백업시 주의할 점은?

fedora3에서 centos5로 업그레이드할려고 합니다.

그동안 사용하던
dns,
apm,
보드
nabi 등을 백업할려고 하니 갑자기 막막합니다.

사용하는 것은 크게 없는데, 위의 것들 이상 생각이 나질 않네요?

root로 로긴해서 tar로 백업해서 centos에서 풀어 주면 될까요?

yum 관련 정보만 상위 버젼으로 업그레이드 한 후 yum upgrade 방식으로 업을 할 수는 있지만 centos4 까지는 잘되지만 centos4에서 centos5로는 적용이 되지 않고 시스템이 망가질 위험이 있습니다.

설치시 업그레이드 설치 기능을 이용해서 설치하는 방법이 있습니다만 구 버젼의 흔적과 신버젼의 패키지가 달라져서 불필요한 흔적이 많이 남습니다. 추천하지는 않습니다.

일단 백업받을 폴더를 결정하시고 통채로 받으신다음 새롭게 설치된 서버에서 풀어주시면 됩니다.
/etc /var 를 받아놓으시고 추가로 데이터가 있는 폴더를 추가로 받으시면 됩니다.
