우분투에 ati(firegl v3400) 드라이버를 깔았는데 여전히 화면이 느립니다.

제 컴퓨터에 ati사의 firegl 3400이 설치되어 있어서 ati홈페이지에서 8.4343버젼을 다운 받아

./ati-driver.......run --buildpkg Ubuntu/gutsy

방법을 이용하여 그래픽 카드를 설치하였습니다.

설치 후에 fglrxinfo로 확인해 보니 firegl v3400이라고 제대로 그래픽 카드가 잡힌것을 확인 했습니다.

그런데 터미널 창을 열거나 움직을때 눈에 띄게 느립니다.

glxgears로 확인 해보니 4000후반에서 5000사이를 왔다 갔다합니다. 제 그래픽 카드가 좋지 않아서 느린것인가.

제가 드라이버를 잘못 설치했나 판단이 안됍니다. 원래 v3400이 이정도 수치를 보이는 궁금합니다.

ati드라이버 설치는 아래 주소에서 보고 두번째 방법을 그대로 따라했습니다.

그리고 모니터가 듀얼로 구성되어 있는데 한개당 해상도가 1400x900이 되는데 리눅스에서 확장으로 하니 2800x900이 될줄 알았는데 2480x1024만 되는데 원래 확장을 하면

해상도가 이런식으로 고정되나요??
