우분투 사용중 작업공간 변환이 안되는 문제

우분투 7.10 사용중입니다.

vmware를 사용하여 xp를 사용하다가 xp를 작업공간 1에서 2로 옮겨놓고

작업을 하던중 작업공간을 바꾸기 위해 ctrl+alt + E, ctrl+alt + 방향키

등을 눌러보았으나 어느것도 작동하지 않더군요. 마우스로 직접 작업공간을 찍어도

바뀌지 않습니다. 혹시나 싶어 재부팅을 해보았으나 여전히 바뀌지 않구요.

혹시 문제 해결방법이나 아니면 작업공간 바꾸기 프로그램을 다시 설치할수 있는

방법이라도 알고 싶습니다.
