sendmail의 smtp 접속에 대해서 질문 드립니다.

sendmail 8.14.1를 사용해서 smtp 서버를 구축하고 있습니다.
구현하고 싶은 기능은
외부네트워크에 있는 메일 클라이언트에서 ID/PASSWORD를 입력해서 메일을 보내는 기능인데요
찾아서 이것저것 다 해봤는데요

예를들어서 김정균님의 글이랑 그 글을 기본으로해서 만든 문서들.

설정을 끝내고 내부(리눅스 머신) 텔넷(포트 25번)으로 테스트를 하면 정상적으로 나옵니다.
MAIL FROM ~~
RCPT TO ~~
로 테스트를 해도 정상으로 보낼수 있다고 나오구요
무엇보다도 네트워크 내부에서는 메일을 보낼수 있습니다.

그런데 네트워크 외부에서 메일을 보낼려고 하면 smtp서버에 접속이 안됩니다.

텔넷으로 시도를 해봤는데 25번 포트로 접속이 안되는군요.
서버에서 막은것은 없구요

해결방법을 알고 계신분은 답글 부탁드리겠습니다.
