데비안 설치좀 도와주세요...

에궁.. 여기까지 왔네요.
참고할만한 문서가 어디에 있는지 모르겠습니다.
데비안사용자 그룹만 계속 뒤지고 있네요..

알고 계시는 괜찮은 사이트 추천바랍니다.

본격적인 질문은 아래와 같습니다.
W2K에 vmware로 데비안 우디를 설치하였습니다. mini-cd로 설치하였기때문
에 base부분만 설치가 되었구요..

source-list를 아래와 같이 잡고..
x-window를 뛰우기 위해 아래와 같이 했습니다.

apt-get install xserver-common xfree86-common
apt-get install wmaker wmaker-data wmakerconf wmakerconf-data
apt-get install xbase-clients

이렇게 했는데요.. x가 안뜨는 군요..

무엇이 빠진건가요.. 도움을 부탁바랍니다.
아참 그리고 vmware-tool에 install.pl에는 debian이 없더군요.
어떻게 해야하는지도 부탁드립니다.
