[질문]윈도우xp와 리눅스의 멀티부팅시 이런문제가,,!!!

윈도XP와 리눅스를 멀티부팅하려고 벌써 일주일가까이 헤메고 있습니다
파티션 나눌때 리눅스를 윈도우 뒷부분에다 설치하는게 좋다더군요,
그래서 파티션매직으로 C드라이브(XP설치돼있음) 뒷부분 8M정도를
"설정하지 않은 상태"로 남겨놓고
리눅스 설치 CD로 부팅해서 설치하려다 보면
디스크드루이드로 파티션 설정하는 단계에서
용량이 부족하다고 에러가 납니다.
XP(C드라이브) 이전공간에 파티션을 비워두고
리눅스를 설치할때는 문제가 없거든요,.
그래도 거기서 포기하지 않고 디스크조각모음이랑 FIPS를 이용해
D드라이브를 만들고 다시 FDISK로 지워서 XP뒷부분에 8M정도를
파티션 설정하지 않은채 비워두고,
이번엔 디스크드루이드가 아닌 리눅스-FDISK로 파티션을 잡아줬습니다
그래서 간신히 리눅스를 설치하고 부팅을 해보니,,,,

01010101010101010101010101010101010101010101.......
이런메세지만 계속 출력되더군요,
뭐가 문제인가요?
(참고로 하드는 40기가 이고 윈도우 xp는 예전에 설치해서 사용하고 있던
상태입니다)
