[질문]vmware 에 gentoo을 설치했는데요...그래픽카드가 안잡히네요..

vmware 에서는 vesa 드라이버을 설치해야한다고 들었는데요..
그래서...
emerge x11-drivers/xf86-video-vesa
emerge x11-drivers/xf86-video-vmware

이렇게 해봤습니다..그러니깐 대충 뭔가가 설치는 되더군요...
하지만 xorgconfig 해봤는데...
8메가로 잡아주면 오류가 뜨면서 안됩니다..
왜이런건지 모르겠네요...

그냥 /etc/inittab 을 수정하니깐 안되더라구요...

vmware-tool을 설치해야합니다.
vesa가 아니라
vmware 매뉴에 설치항목이 있습니다
