cron table중에 반드시 필요한 항목이 있을까요?

새벽 4시마다 네트웍이 끊어지는 현상이 발생하여 cron 잡들을 모두 제거해버리니
그런 현상이 사라졌습니다.

제가 문의드리는 것은 다음의 내용입니다.

1. 네트웍을 마비시킬 만한 cron job이 어떤것이 있을까요?

2. cron job중 제거해버리면 중대한 문제가 발생할 수 있는 것은 어떤것이 있을까요?

참고적으로 사용환경을 알려드립니다.
웹 접속: 서비스하는 어플리케이션 설정 용도로만 접속이 이뤄지기에 웹 관련 부하는 거의 없음
FTP: 초기 설치시 및 로그 다운받을 경우만 사용
DB: 사용치 않음
서비스: TCP,UDP 연결을 가지며, HDD에 빈번한 기록을함

흠.. 해당 크론잡이 어떻게 구성되어 있는지 알수있나요??

저것 만으로는 확인할수가 없습니다..
iptables같은 방화벽 설정을 올려놨을수도..;;

크론잡은 처음 설치시 그대로입니다.
별도의 잡을 등록하지 않았습니다.

Redhat 9.0, RHEL3의 경우에 발생한 문제점입니다만,
RHEL4 이상에서도 마찬가지 일거라고 생각합니다. 확인한 사항은 아닙니다.

등록되어 있는 잡들은 다음과 같습니다.
cron.daily에 있는 항목들입니다.

00-logwatch@ 0anacron* makewhatis.cron* slocate.cron*
00webalizer* logrotate* rpm* tmpwatch*
