cron 설정할 때, /etc/crontab 파일은 어디에 쓰나요?

/etc/crontab 이 파일은 무슨 용도 입니까?

이 파일이 크론(1시간짜리, 매일짜리, 1주일짜리, 1달짜리)을 실행하도록 하는 설정파일인가요? 단지 그뿐인가요?

crontab -e 로 수정해서 등록하면 유저명으로 생기는 파일도 있는데,

크론데몬은 /etc/crontab 파일도 실행하고 유저이름으로 생성된 파일도 실행하는 것인가요?

그리고 페도라5를 쓰는데, cron 이라는 파일은 어디에 있는지 안보입니다;; which, find
